This song is pretty straight-forward. Much like me! No decoding necessary. I wrote it as a reminder for you; a reminder for my daughter, and son as they voyage through school and life; a reminder to the person that sits and doubts and doubts and doesn’t quite seem to have that solid confidence of just knowing deep down that they ARE great. This song is something you take with you. You commit it to your heart. Somebody out there loves you. You ARE something special. OWN IT! Shine your light. We need it.

Life won’t always be filled with roses and pats on the back, so when things aren’t going your way, don’t let it get you down. Just keep your feet planted on a firm foundation to help you persevere and stay focused on your goals. No matter how tough things get, and no matter how dark this world seems, hold your head high and know that YOU are LOVED. Seriously! I’m talkin to YOU…
